The fashion gods smiles down on us on 5/11/14 for the Callanan spring 2015 summer photo shot. Here are some behind the scenes pics of it.
The beach at Cherry Grove was as perfect as always.

CHERRY GROVE BOARDWALK
There are no roads, no cars, no bikes and no public lighting in Cherry Grove. The sides of the boardwalk are painted white so as that you can see them in the moonlight. Stay within the white lines and you won't fall and break your neck.
Gardening on the island is about 6 weeks behind the mainland so my friends were sweet enough to allow us to take some shots as they were prepping their pots for the summer.

the algae covered garden boards are a superb natural backdrop

koitz finished photo.
Then it was off for a few shots overlooking the Long Island Sound.

This pine tree is quite special. It is a survivor of the 1938 hurricane which devastated Fire Island and much of Long Island.
The locals put cinder blocks around the tree to help it survive.

Not only did Philip do all the styling he also helped with the lighting as needed.

Koitz, Philip, Diego and the gorgeous Constanza make it all look so easy, but it was a grueling 4 hour non stop day.
Then it was time to catch the ferry back to the mainland and then the LIRR to NYC before heading to JFK to get the 1.30am flight back to HKG.
